Steve Friedman M.A.
Steve is owner of Payne Resolution, LLC providing mediation and conflict management consulting and coordinating services to various organizations. He was a mediator for the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management mediating a myriad of workplace issues. In addition, he has helped mediate for the Franklin County Juvenile Victim Offenders Program. He has mediated for Franklin County Small Claims Court and has assisted with Peer Mediation training for a High School in Columbus, Ohio.
He was recently involved as a contract mediator for the Delaware County (Ohio) Foreclosure Mediation Program. In addition. Steve is a dynamic trainer, who gets the most out of his learners. He has experience as a contract trainer for a national training provider. In that capacity he provided a multitude of training facilitation in such topics as “Dealing with Difficult People,” “Interpersonal Skills", “How to be a Great Communicator”, "Training Design: Essential Skills for Supervisors”, “Managing Emotions Under Pressure”,” Managing Multiple Projects”, “Customer Service” as well as others.
Steve has been involved in the development and presentation of workplace conflict workshops in collaboration with the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management. He helped develop and maintain a module for a new employee training on Behavioral Styles and Meeting Tools and currently facilitates a module on customer service and professional development. Additionally, Steve has over twelve years experience in the conference/event planning and training field working with an educational organization in Washington, D.C., the University of Maryland, the University of Colorado and The Ohio State University. Steve is currently a Fiscal Officer/Grant Administrator for the State of Ohio.
Steve has a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Capital Law School in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, he has a Master of Arts in Government and Politics and a Certificate in Public Administration from St. John's University (NY) as well as a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Colorado State University – Pueblo. Steve also is a Certified Public Manager through the Ohio Certified Public Managers Program. He is also a certified Emotional Intelligence coach and assessor.

Steve enjoys being a father and spending time with his fifteen year old son. Steve is also 4th degree black belt and instructor in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoys skiing, soccer and other physical activities.
